Ignis is a high level version of Cerberus, requiring multiple combat styles to be fought effectively. As such, it is recommended to have high Prestige levels across multiple combat styles, as well as Key Stone talents to supplement offstyles. A slayer task for Hellhounds or a boss slayer task for Cerberus is recommended, as is demonbane equipment such as the Demonite Defender.

Ignis shares several uniques with Cerberus, dropping everything except the Dragon metal lump, Dragon metal shard
