Prestige
The ability to Prestige your skills brings a new dynamic to the gameplay loop of leveling up skills. Prestige unlocks a wealth of new content, Talent points, and direct buffs to your player's stats.
To Prestige a skill, you must first reach level 99. Each subsequent prestige will require that you level up your skills 2 levels
higher than the previous prestige requirement.
The table below will outline the level requirements for each available Prestige.
Prestiges marked with a *
are restricted depending on the Game mode you chose.
Prestige Benefits
Every skill will benefit from prestiging. You are recommended to always prestige every skill.
Leveling a skill past the Prestige requirement is not recommended as there is no additional gain for over-leveling.
Universal Benefits
The following benefits are universal to all skill prestiges:

Combat Benefits
When you Prestige a combat skill, your account retains a virtual combat level when reset.
- If you Prestige magic for the first time, and then reach level 60, your effective magic level would be
159
. - This calculation works the same for higher prestige levels, with each prestige worth the levels being added to your effective skill level.
This system applies to the following combat skills:
Skill | Benefit |
---|---|
Attack | Increased melee attack bonus |
Defence | Increased player defence rating |
Magic | Increased magic attack bonus |
Ranged | Increased ranged attack bonus |
- Strength does not benefit directly from Prestige levels, but does provide additonal melee damage through the use of the Tekton's Rage and Ghommal's Might Talents.
Skilling Benefits
Prestiging a non-combat skill does not add the same effective skill level as combat skills do. Rather, non-combat skills instead unlock additional training methods or Slayer tasks.
- Items marked with a

only apply to Slayer Locked accounts.
