Travel fee: COST.

Mechanics

Vorkaths Dragonfire is stronger than others i.e Green, Blue, Red, or Black. If you are running the Anti-fire perk you will also need to use protect from magic or use an Anti-fire potion. Vorkath has two main attacks, his mage attack comes out as a blue ball and the range attack comes out as a spiked green ball. Its recommended to just camp protect from magic. Vorkath also occasionally will shoot out a purple dragonbreath which will de-activate your protection prayers or a green dragonbreath which will venom you if you do not have the resistance, the Antipoison perk will negate this effect.

Special Attacks

After 6 standard attacks, Vorkath will use one of his special attacks. Upon finishing his special attack the cycle will reset and after another 6 standard attacks he will do another special attack until death.

Rapid Fire

Rapid Fire is the deadliest of Vorkath's attacks, and is one of the two special attacks it'll use after six standard attacks. When used, Vorkath will launch acid pools around the arena (with one landing on where the player stood), then fire dragonbreath every tick at the tile the player is standing on.

Standing on the acid pools will deal up to 10 damage per tick and heal him for the same amount, whilst getting hit by its rapid dragonfire will result in 25-41 damage taken. As such, the basic principle to surviving this special attack is to always be on the move whilst walking on clean tiles. Players can find a line (at least five tiles free of acid) and walk back and forth said line. This is relatively safe but no damage will be dealt to Vorkath in the process.

Players new to fighting Vorkath may use the fact that there is always an acid-free line directly next to the exit, when walking side to side ('hugging' the wall). Be wary that running to this back line while the acid is being thrown has a chance of spawning an acid pool in this line, because theres a chance Vorkath throws acid right behind you, regardless of proximity to the entrance.

Zombified Spawn

Vorkaths other special attack involves shooting an icy breath at the player, this deals no damage but it temporarily freezes you as he summons a Zombified Spawn. The Spawn will then chase after the player dealing massive damage if it reaches you, unlike in the normal encounter you may run away after it has spawned and kite it around the arena if needed, it is still advised to deal with the spawn before continuing to kill Vorkath.
