Alchemical Hydra attacks with both Magic and Ranged attacks.
*Magic is a spit projectile, Ranged is a Spike.
**The first hit is random but will then switch between the two after 3 attacks.
***After 3 attacks Hydra will use a special attack depending on the phase.
Each phase of the hydra has a special attack and to make him weaker you MUST drag him over the vents in the room starting with the South-Eastern Vent.
Phase 1 special attack is green poison. Move away from said location, 2-3 tiles is usually enough.
Phase 2 special attack is 4 lightning beams that will converge on the player. Move Hydra to the North-Eastern Vent.
*Try to Dodge them as best you can while keeping Hydra on the North-Eastern Vent
**They will disable your protection prayers, Hydra can hit well over 90 damage at once off-prayer.
Phase 3 Special is Fire bombs. Move Hydra to the North-Western Vent.
*Hydra will shoot 4 fire bombs, move 4 tiles as they leave a 3x3 area of effect.
Phase 4 starts at 20% HP. This is what's known as Jad phase.
*Hydra will now swap between Magic and Ranged every attack.
