Zebak is a large crocodile encountered at the the Path of Crondis, within the Tombs of Amascut.

Requirements

There are no requirements to fight Zebak but it is recommended to have Prestige 5 in your chosen combat style to make the fight as smooth as possible.

Getting there

Run northwest of home to the green Tombs of Amascut portal for 150,000 GP and enter the Path of Crondis

Mechanics

Zebak is a high-health raid boss known for alternating between ranged and magic attacks. The fight involves several mechanics that demand precise movement and positioning to successfully navigate. From the start of the encounter, Zebak uses his basic attacks. One of these is a rock attack, signaling a ranged strike—activate Protect from Ranged to avoid damage. The other is a red orb attack, indicating a magic strike—use Protect from Magic to avoid damage.

Cluster of red orbs

Zebak summons a swarm of red orbs that chase you. If they catch up to you, they inflict damage and heal Zebak in the process. To avoid this, keep moving to evade the orbs while maintaining your attacks on Zebak.

Sand attack/Waves

Zebak covers the entire arena with sand, which deals damage if you step on it. To counter this, attack the boulders scattered around the arena to clear the sand and create safe zones. These cleared areas are also essential for dodging the waves that sweep in from either side of the arena. Throughout this phase, Zebak will continue using his basic attacks, so continue to swap prayers accordingly.

Charged up attack

Zebak unleashes another wave of damaging sand, accompanied by three rock walls and scattered boulders throughout the arena. To create a safe zone, push or pull the boulders and attack them when they are in position to create the safe zone behind a wall. Position yourself one-two tiles behind a wall to shield yourself from Zebak's arena-wide attack. During this phase, Zebak also continues to use his basic attacks, so swap prayers accordingly.

20%HP/Final phase

At 20% health, Zebak significantly increases the speed of his basic attacks. During this phase, the red orbs mechanic may still occur. To quickly end the battle and prevent additional special attacks, it is highly recommended to utilize the Executioner perk

Recommended talents

The recommended combat style for Zebak is Magic
