Slayer Locked Frequently Asked Questions
Will the mode be Permanent?
Yes! The game mode will be staying around after the Competition. Be aware that some future content that is skilling focused may not be completable by Slayer-Only accounts.
What about X item that doesn't drop from any Slayer mobs?
New Slayer tasks have been implemented to ensure that items that were hard/impossible to obtain on a Slayer Locked account. Some items may remain unobtainable, if it seems like it is not a fitting addition in the first place. e.g. Farmers dropping farming tools makes sense. Dragons dropping amulets of strength do not.
What skills are locked for Slayer Locked accounts?

Will gifting be available after the competition is over?
No. Gifting is not enabled on Slayer Locked accounts. Slayer Locked accounts will be completely separated from the Economy of the server.
Will I be able to attack Treasure Goblins? There are no tasks for them.

Can you complete Tombs of Amascut (ToA), Olympian Raids, Nex, Hardmode boss variants as a Slayer Locked account?
Yes, you will be able to complete this content with the required Slayer Prestige:
- Prestige 1 Slayer: Olympian Raids (unlocks task)
- Prestige 2: ToA (unlocks task)
- Prestige 3: Nex & Azrael (unlocks task)
- Prestige 4: Ignis
- Prestige 5: Danger Snek
Will Slayer Tasks be added for Tombs of Amascut (ToA), Olympian Raids, and Nex?
Yes, but the slayer helm bonuses do not work for these tasks.
Who can I party up with on a Slayer Locked account?
Slayer Locked players can ONLY party with other Slayer Locked players.
For the release competition, this will be further restricted to only being able to party with players in the same competition bracket as you.
If you are still qualified to compete, but you no longer want to compete so that your restrictions can be lifted, create a ticket in Discord and provide information for staff to be able to manually disqualify you.
What are the biggest advantages to playing a Slayer Locked mode?
- Gaining 5% additional drop rate vs bosses, PER Slayer prestige rank
- Having a Prestige Cap of 9
- Gaining access to all tiers of the Skilling Talent Tree without needing to fulfil requirements for 'x points in previous tiers'.
- 2x Superior Slayer spawn rate, which stacks with other superior spawn rate modifying mechanics, like in the Skilling Talent Tree.
How does voting benefit my Slayer Locked account?
- Slayer Locked accounts have access to the Vote Store in-game.
- Additionally, every vote for Runelocus, up to 100 times, will grant you and extra Talent Point Orb. These orbs will allow you to gain extra Talent Points in a Talent Tree of your choice.
What is the XP Rate of the Slayer Locked Gamemode?
The Slayer Locked game mode has a 10x multiplier for all XP gains.
What kind of Talent XP bonuses does the Slayer Locked mode provide?
The Slayer Locked game mode earns 20% more Talent Points in PVM Skills.
Will Slayer Locked accounts be able to use Unnatural Selection?
No, as this goes against the spirit of the game mode.
Will Slayer Locked accounts be able to use Equilibrium?
No, as this goes against the spirit of the game mode.
Will Slayer Locked accounts be able to use Sage's Greaves?
No, as this goes against the spirit of the game mode.
Will Slayer Locked accounts have restricted access to other perks that are released?
Yes, if it goes against the spirit of the game mode.
What is the max Prestige of a Slayer Locked account?
Max Prestige in any trainable skill is 9
Can I change the ironman mode of my Slayer Locked account?
No, your ironman mode is permanent upon completing the tutorial.
Can I switch from Slayer Locked to a different mode?
No your game mode is permanent upon completing the tutorial.
