Thieving/Guide
This is a guide for training the Thieving skill. This guide has a basic outline of methods to train the skill, and which Talents will impact the skill to aide in your training.
This guide does not promise to be the most efficient, best xp/hour, or best money-making guide. Rather, it is a good option for those looking for help deciding how to train their skills.
Training
Level 1+ - Stalls
For the purpose of this guide we will assume the player does not have a donator rank and subsequent access to donator zones
Players starting Thieving should begin by stealing from the best available thieving stall they can. Staying at a specific stall such as the gem stalls can be beneficial if following the crafting guide.

Alternate: Level 80+ - Honey
Stealing honey from beehives is an alternate method that has the added beenfit of being used for olympian cooking recipes, as outlined in the cooking guide.

Bonuses and Talents
Bonuses

 Skilling xp token |
20% XP bonus if a skilling xp token is used. |
 Skilling outfit |
8% XP bonus if the Rogue equipment is worn. Bonus: Double loot from all thieving sources when worn. |
 Ring of 3rd age |
12% XP bonus if worn. Replaces the skilling outfit bonus including the bonus effect. |
 Skilling pets |
20% XP bonus if Rocky is following the player, or in bank with Remote Recipient Talent. |

| Persistent Gatherer | Tier 2 Skilling | Increases the number of repetitions while gathering, up to 75, before needing to interact again. |
| Gathering Prodigy | Tier 2 Skilling | Reduces the level required to interact by up to -10 levels at max rank. |
| Grace of the Elves | Tier 3 Skilling | Chance for a Seren Spirit to spawn and award you with extra resources, up to 1/100 chance at max rank. |
| Masterful Gatherer | Tier 3 Skilling | Increases the chance to gather a resource multiplicatively by up to 60% at max rank. |
| Bounty of Seren | Tier 5 Skilling | Gain more resources from Grace of the Elves by up to 40% at max rank. Selecting this talent will lock Wisdom of Seren. |
| Wisdom of Seren | Tier 5 Skilling | You are awarded XP instead of resources from Grace of the Elves. XP is awarded for the entire amount of resources that would have been received. Selecting this talent will lock Bounty of Seren. |
| Banker's Note | Tier 5 Utility | Receive an item that will let you note and unnote items directly in your inventory. |
