This is a guide for training the Crafting skill. This guide has a basic outline of methods to train the skill, and which Talents will impact the skill to aide in your training.

This guide does not promise to be the most efficient, best xp/hour, or best money-making guide. Rather, it is a good option for those looking for help deciding how to train their skills.

Training

Level 1-20 - Leather

Players starting Crafting should make leather items until level 20.

Level 20+ - Gems

Cutting gems starting at level 20 is a great way to level up [[crafting] quickly, and can be paired well with the Thieving guide to collect a large amount of gems and also gain xp in Thieving

Level 45+ - Dragon leather

Crafting dragon leather is an altnernative method to cutting gems which will also net you a large amount of xp/hour.

Bonuses and Talents

Bonuses

Bonus Description
Vote Buff 20% XP bonus if the player is near other group members.
Skilling xp token 20% XP bonus if a skilling xp token is used.
Ring of 3rd age 12% XP bonus if worn.

Talent Synergies

Talent Name Talent Tier/Tree Description
Speedy Crafter Tier 1 Skilling Increases the chance to reduce the time taken to craft an item.
Ingredient Saver (I) Tier 1 Skilling Increases the chance to save resources when crafting by up to 60% at max rank.
Skilling XP Tier 2 Skilling Gain up to 25% more XP in non-combat skills at max rank.
Expedited Production Tier 2 Skilling Increases the chance to immediately craft all items by up to 22% at max rank.
Production Prodigy Tier 2 Skilling Reduces the level required to interact by up to -10 levels at max rank.
Ingredient Saver (II) Tier 2 Skilling Increases the amount of ingredients saved by Ingredient Saver (I) by up to 45% at max rank.
