'''''Wrath Damage Penetration vs. Weakness Damage Penetration'''''

The T5 league perk Wrath has a unique damage penetration mechanic: '''Ignore all damage reduction and overhead prayers against targets.'''

This damage penetration works differently to how Weakness damage penetration and general damage penetration works.

General damage penetration relates to your stats (levels and attack bonus on gear) compared to your opponent's (defence level). This damage mitigation is standard throughout the game. Weaknesses have the added effect of increasing your damage penetration when being exploited.

The Wrath damage penetration refers to other damage mitigation effects in game. These include:

* Dagannoth Kings type immunities (e.g., Rex being immune to melee/ranged, and only being damagable by magic)
* Echo DKs and Akkha's overhead prayers
* Zulrah's weakness types (Ranged phase taking less damage from ranged, mage phase taking less damage from mage)
* Cerberus' immune phase during ghosts (Wrath allows you to ignore the ghosts and damage Cerberus during this phase)

# Vote and claim your votes, collect crystal keys from the vote obelisk.
# Run west to the key building, open 3 regular crystal chests - save your other 2 keys. Teleport back home.
# Claim (using the <code>::starter</code> command) and open your starter mystery box, equip any thieving outfit pieces you receive, sell the extras and as many xp tokens as you need to in order to afford a full set of the thieving outfit from Branwen at home. You'll need to make sure you voted in order to open the box!
# With your thieving outfit equipped, deposit all, withdraw your coins.
# Run east, pick flax until level 10 farming. (+25 pts)
# Buy rake + seed dibber + spade from the farming shop leperachaun, also buy 3 potato seeds, 9 onion seeds, and 4 guam seeds.
# Rake all alotments and herb patches (you can do less if you want, but your farming level might not be high enough for better seeds later on), plant your seeds.
# Run south to the thieving stalls, thieve cakes until level 20, silk until 35, then fur until at least level 38, or until 45 if you want to get a few extra points. (+75 pts, +100 if thieving until silver)
# Run back north to the farming area and thieve from the master farmer, there are 22 seed types to get from the master farmer, for a total of 550 points. You don't have to farm them all if you don't want to, but its a very good source of quick, early points.
# While thieving, make sure you harvest and plant new alotments (each new alotment is another 25 points when harvested) and herbs.
# Once you're happy with the number of points you've gained from farming and thieving (ideally you'll be around 800-900 or more), return to the thieving stalls and steal at least once from any new stall you have access to.
# At this point, fishing, woodcutting, and mining are all good sources of your next set of points, I'd recommend getting these each to at least level 30 and collecting the first few sets of resources in each skill.
'''Completing the above''' should earn you your first perk pretty quick, and give you a few basic resources to start with.

Overview

The standard RSPS Leagues experience didn't feel right for with August, with the whole "milk a cow, get 10 points", "pick an onion in Lumbridge, get 10 points" thing. So, it will work like this:

  • You will gain League Points for every collection log slot filled.
    • Getting 1 Dharok Platebody will give you points, but only the first time.
  • There will be a large amount of easy collection log slots to hunt down, and they will get more difficult as you go.
    • Tip: 'Skilling Resources' has its own massive log to fill with every gatherable resource.
  • As you gain points, you will fill a progress bar on the new Anniversary League Perks interface.
  • As you reach certain point thresholds, you will unlock a Relic slot, with a choice between 3 different perks.
  • More points are required between each tier, but the perks will also greatly increase your player's abilities to progress in the game.
    • All existing August talents are all available, and work the same as before! The Anniversary League relics are another layer on top to make you stronger. Lots of the Anniversary League relics actually enhance the existing talents!

Rules

Player Restrictions

  • All players will start as an Ironman.
    • You cannot de-iron.
  • All players will start as a fresh League Account - Standard game modes such as PvM, Masochist, and Skiller are not available.
    • Talent points will be gained at a rate of 1 point per 40 levels gained.
  • Shop restrictions for Ironmen accounts are lifted in the League worlds.
  • Players will start with a 20x accelerated XP rate, which will scale up as Relic tiers are unlocked.
  • Tempering limits have been increased from 4 to 10.
  • Accounts logged into the League worlds cannot be logged into the main game worlds at the same time.
    • The League worlds will utilize the same technology that allows you to communicate and see players' ghosts on the standard game worlds.

Donations

  • Any donations made via Stripe on your League account will award Rank books being automatically added to your main-game account.
    • This does not include OSGP donations.
  • Any items donated for on the League worlds will not be transferred back.
  • Donator Rank obtained not via donating will not be transferred back to your main account.
  • Rank transferring from the main game to a League account will not be offered.

Relics

Relics are a unique addition to the August League League, and DO NOT replace the existing Talent Trees.

  • All existing Talents work the same as before
  • The Anniversary League Relics are another layer on top to make you stronger.

Wrath Damage Penetration vs. Weakness Damage Penetration

The T5 league perk Wrath has a unique damage penetration mechanic: Ignore all damage reduction and overhead prayers against targets.

  • Echo DKs and Akkha's overhead prayers
  • Zulrah's weakness types (Ranged phase taking less damage from ranged, mage phase taking less damage from mage)

  • The rewards of the Anniversary League have not yet been released.
    • The cost of the League rewards have not yet been released.
  • Whether all of the rewards will be tradeable or not has not yet been confirmed.

Easy Tier 1 Steps

Left Note: You can complete a few of these steps on the tutorial if you want, or just finish the tutorial and head into the game to complete these tasks.

  1. Vote and claim your votes, collect crystal keys from the vote obelisk.
  2. Run west to the key building, open 3 regular crystal chests - save your other 2 keys. Teleport back home.
  3. Claim (using the ::starter command) and open your starter mystery box, equip any thieving outfit pieces you receive, sell the extras and as many xp tokens as you need to in order to afford a full set of the thieving outfit from Branwen at home. You'll need to make sure you voted in order to open the box!
  4. With your thieving outfit equipped, deposit all, withdraw your coins.
  5. Run east, pick flax until level 10 farming. (+25 pts)
  6. Buy rake + seed dibber + spade from the farming shop leperachaun, also buy 3 potato seeds, 9 onion seeds, and 4 guam seeds.
  7. Rake all alotments and herb patches (you can do less if you want, but your farming level might not be high enough for better seeds later on), plant your seeds.
  8. Run south to the thieving stalls, thieve cakes until level 20, silk until 35, then fur until at least level 38, or until 45 if you want to get a few extra points. (+75 pts, +100 if thieving until silver)
  9. Run back north to the farming area and thieve from the master farmer, there are 22 seed types to get from the master farmer, for a total of 550 points. You don't have to farm them all if you don't want to, but its a very good source of quick, early points.
  10. While thieving, make sure you harvest and plant new alotments (each new alotment is another 25 points when harvested) and herbs.
  11. Once you're happy with the number of points you've gained from farming and thieving (ideally you'll be around 800-900 or more), return to the thieving stalls and steal at least once from any new stall you have access to.
  12. At this point, fishing, woodcutting, and mining are all good sources of your next set of points, I'd recommend getting these each to at least level 30 and collecting the first few sets of resources in each skill.

Completing the above should earn you your first perk pretty quick, and give you a few basic resources to start with.
