Patch notes/Oct 13 2025

Summary

This update rebalances Theatre of Blood purple loot distribution to encourage grouping rather than solo MVP play, fixes Hephaestus pet animations, enables all pets to fight superior slayer creatures, and introduces Halloween theming while working on behind-the-scenes event content.

Changes and fixes

• TOB purple chance has been shifted around (buff)
  • Instead of MVPs being heavily benefitted when it comes to rolling purples, all players get the benefit if they are 'doing their fair share' of damage
  • The idea is that this will encourage players to group up because it's no longer 'optimal' to be MVP in the raid for purples (other than trying hard to do faster raids for more loot)
• Hephaestus (pet) animations have been fixed, so he doesn't just stand idle while attacking
• All pets should be able to fight superior slayer creatures now
• Depositing noted items from the looting bag should no longer put them in your bank in noted form
• The TOB scythes have now got the winners names and times baked into the examine texts

Halloween preparations

• Lots of behind the scenes stuff coming up for Halloween! For now it remains switched off to the public while work continues on it
• Home has received a Halloween re-theme!
