Update from Jul 29 2024

This update introduces the ability to downgrade from Masochist game mode and implements numerous quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes across various game systems. The update includes iron account changes, pet visibility improvements, resource gathering adjustments, and numerous interaction fixes for various game features.

Game Mode Changes

• You can now downgrade your Masochist game mode by talking to the masochist in the cow pen at home
• Irons will no longer see other peoples' loot
• UIMs will no longer get their essence shards sent to their bank
• GIM players can no longer teleport out of the node with your spellbook before finalizing their group

Equipment and Item Fixes

• Starter staff and other OSRS charged staves should now work properly
• The skill guide for magic weapons will now correctly show ancient staff as a level 60
• The looting bag will no longer take your items and never give them back
• The slayer's staff can be used off task now
• You can reclaim your starter weapons, and looting bag if you're a UIM, by using "Collect-items" on the Talent Manager at home
• Voidwaker pieces should now be tradeable
• Rock cake will now hit 9s instead of 3s as the base damage

Resource Gathering

• Infernal gatherer should no longer break your woodcutting
• Infernal gatherer proccing on Granite, Luminite, and Coal, will now give you 3 dust per ore you proc, instead of 1 each
• The onyx and zenyte gem stalls will no longer produce excessive gems
• The rogue's outfit will no longer halve your skilling tokens when gathering for non-thieving skills
• The Zalcano area now has demonite ores, and the south-west 'dragon area' in the home map now has dragonite ores

World Boss Arena

• You will be automatically teleported out of the World Boss Arena on login
• The 2 northern rows of tiles in the World Boss Arena is now multi-combat, as it should have been
• The World Boss scaled HP cap of 30000 HP has been removed

Other Improvements

• Pets should all now hide properly with entity hider, and you should no longer see interaction options for other peoples' pets
• The group proximity XP buff you get if you've voted in the last 12 hours should now work as expected
• Clicking the achievements button in the 'character summary info' tab inside the quest tab should take you to the achievements tab instead of doing nothing
• The grand exchange booth that lets you bank, will now allow you to access your group bank
• The 'open chest' type of achievements should no longer notify you of progress on the wrong achievement when opening chests

The server will be offline for a bit while everything is migrated to a new server with upgraded hardware.
