Patch notes/Jul 25 2025

Summary

This double pre-patch update prepares the game for the upcoming Leagues event with tutorial preparations, bonus voucher flexibility, EUR currency support for European players, and various quality-of-life improvements. The update also includes numerous bug fixes for combat mechanics, drop tables, and instance behavior.

League pre-patch - Update 1

• Fixed a bug with the melee min-hit style-specific weakness pandora perks that was preventing the min hit increase from being added against NPCs that were lower than tier 95
• Getting the tutorial ready to house all players without allowing unfair advantages for people hopping on early before the event starts
• Bonus vouchers now allow you to choose between getting bonds or mystery boxes when redeeming them
• The world switcher interface should be working properly now
• The GIM collection log interface will no longer give you the false impression that you can collect rewards for GIM-green-logged logs
• The queued world bosses will now be sent to players in the arena as it updates, so you know what's coming up
• For Europeans, the ::donate interface now allows you to select EUR as a currency, which opens up a bunch of European payment methods that were previously unavailable

League pre-patch - Update 2

• When fighting, you'll not only get Evil Chickens, but also Rick Turpentine, Sandwich Lady, and Genies
• The relic unlock emote now shows the august league relic unlock
• There's an additional warning when transferring rank TO a slayer locked account, making sure you understand and agree that rank can't be transferred back off of a slayer locked account
• Ignis' drop table has been buffed a little bit, and the jar of souls has been moved to the Ignis collection log, out of the Cerb collection log
• Bonecrusher with utility unleashed will now properly give you prayer points
• Echo DKs will now drop boss and pvm tokens
• The Consistency talent has had its description updated to be more clear how it works
• You shouldn't be able to get locked out of Poseidon's combat room if you're fighting a treasure goblin while your team goes in
• When you die at the same time as Apollo, it should no longer permanently stuck you in the death cage of shame
• Olympian raids normal loot will now give crushed birds nests instead of normal birds nests
• UIMs with Greedy Boi should have their ring sent to their inventory or the ground instead of the bank they can't access
• Zalcano got a bit of a treatment to its logic to stop it breaking on death and walking around until respawn

Leagues announcement

League worlds will be opening for players to be able to log in and sort out their GIM groups, with the full league launch coming shortly after.
