Update from Jan 09 2025

This update introduces a highly requested feature allowing Group Ironman (GIM) players to party up separately from their GIM group and join instances with others. The update also includes performance improvements to instance creation, changes to shooting star requirements, and introduces a new event called Chambers of Chance.

GIM Partying

Group Irons can now party up, separate from their GIM group, and join instances with others!

The partying interface and GIM grouping interface are now on separate tabs.

  • Type \g before your message to send a GIM group message
  • Type \p before your message to send a party message

(Previously was just \ prefix to send a 'group' message)

Other changes

  • Performance boost to how the game handles creating instances
  • Shooting stars will now require that you have voted on the Runelocus and/or Runelist toplists to be able to mine at them
  • There's a new event called the Chambers of Chance (CoC for short)
  • Server stability improvements to prevent crashes like those experienced previously
