Update from Feb 2 2025

This update introduces various quality-of-life improvements across multiple game areas, with particular focus on Slayer-locked accounts who now receive an iron scimitar after the tutorial and can access anti-dragon shields more easily. The update also fixes several bugs related to achievements, equipment requirements, and monster behaviors.

Slayer changes

• Hard Mode Zulrah/Cerb slayer helmets have been added to the slayer helmet collection log
• Slayer locked accounts will now receive an iron scimitar upon completing the tutorial to start them off in the event they don't already have a special game plan to obtain a starter weapon
• Anti-dragon shields are now dropped by KBD quite commonly, and will also be available in the slayer point shop for 100 points
• You will now be able to attack superiors even when your task has finished, if you're slayer-locked
• Spiders around lumbridge should now be killable on spider tasks

Drops and rewards

• Large amounts of noted vials of water now drop from Kraken

Bug fixes

• A few youtuber commands have been fixed, so you can go to their channels when they're online
• Porcupine will no longer hit NPCs back who you cannot hit normally yourself
• Achievements around assigning talent points will no longer spam your chatbox
• MA2 capes and poseidon gear now properly also requires magic levels to equip
