This is a guide for training the Farming skill. This guide has a basic outline of methods to train the skill, and which Talents will impact the skill to aide in your training.

This guide does not promise to be the most efficient, best xp/hour, or best money-making guide. Rather, it is a good option for those looking for help deciding how to train their skills.

Training

Level 1+ - Planting Allotment/Herb Seeds

Training Farming can be done by planting seeds in the allotment and herb patches located east of home. Players are recommended to plant the highest level seeds they can in all of the available farming patches.

An easy way to obtain seeds is to pickpocket the master farmer that is found roaming around the farming patches.

Bonuses and Talents

Bonuses

Bonus	Description
Vote Buff	20% XP bonus if the player is near other group members.
Skilling xp token	20% XP bonus if a skilling xp token is used.
Skilling outfit	8% XP bonus if the Farmer's outfit is worn.
Ring of 3rd age	12% XP bonus if worn. Replaces the skilling outfit bonus.
Skilling pets	20% XP bonus if Tangleroot is following the player, or in bank with Remote Recipient Talent.

Resource Gatherer	Tier 1 Skilling	Increases chance to receive 2x the resources by up to 60% at max rank.
Skilling XP	Tier 2 Skilling	Gain up to 25% more XP in non-combat skills at max rank.
Grace of the Elves	Tier 3 Skilling	Chance for a Seren Spirit to spawn and award you with extra resources, up to 1/100 chance at max rank.
Elixer Extractor	Tier 3 Skilling	Chance to harvest potions instead of herbs by up to 15% at max rank.
Surplus Secondaries	Tier 3 Skilling	Increases herblore secondaries yield when farming by up to 60% at max rank.
Seed Saver	Tier 3 Skilling	Increases chance to not consume seeds when planting by up to 60% at max rank.
Furious Farmer	Tier 4 Skilling	Reduces the time take for a farm growth cycle to occur by up to 60% at max rank.
Bounty of Seren	Tier 5 Skilling	Gain more resources from Grace of the Elves by up to 40% at max rank. Selecting this talent will lock Wisdom of Seren.
Wisdom of Seren	Tier 5 Skilling	You are awarded XP instead of resources from Grace of the Elves. XP is awarded for the entire amount of resources that would have been received. Selecting this talent will lock Bounty of Seren.
