Kraken is a Slayer boss that can only be killed while on a Slayer task.

Kraken attacks you with multiple magic strikes simultaneously using its enormous tentacles. These attacks cannot be avoided by the 'Protect from Magic' prayer. However, Kraken's primary attack can still be evaded by using the 'Protect from Magic' prayer.

The Slayer helmet provides a 15% strength and 12% accuracy (all combat styles) increase when fighting monsters assigned as your Slayer task. While it offers no combat advantages against non-task creatures, it's the optimal choice during any Slayer assignment. Consider switching to alternative headgear when battling monsters outside your assigned task.
