August has a number of custom axes with unique perks.

Perk name Description
Double yield Has a chance to gather two of a resource.
Process resource Has a chance to process ores into bars, and coal, luminite, and granite, into their respective dusts.
Speed Has a chance to reduce the number of game ticks before your next mining attempt.

Bronze to Rune axes

Bronze through Rune axes work as normal, all able to be purchased at the Skilling Tools Store at home. These tools do not have any perks.

Dragon axe

The dragon axe doesn't have any perks, but is a required stepping stone if looking to craft your own 3rd age axe. It has a mining level requirement of 61.

The crystal shards can only be gathered from fighting Zalcano.
