In August, the Elven City of Prifddinas is the home city for all players and contains a plethora of useful training areas, utility items, and NPCs that players will be looking for.

This page will serve as your guide for what you can find within the city, and where.

Map of August

Below is a map of August notating the important features. Not everything is identified, but most frequently asked locations/NPC's are marked. The table identifies a few key NPC's worth noting.

Spawn

Located in the center of the city, players will start their journey here. This building, containing the Grand Exchange and surrounding useful NPCs, is considered Home, by most of the player base.

The spawn area is comprised of the following points of interest:

Location	Description
Grand Exchange	Players can buy and sell items via the Grand Exchange.
Portal Nexus	The primary way to get around, players can select from a variety of teleport presets like Slayer, Bosses, Skilling, and more.
Spellbook altar	The Spellbook altar will allow players to switch their Magic spellbook between the Ancient and Standard spellbook.
Spellbook altar	The Altar is used in Prayer Training, or to refresh prayer points.
Rejuvenation Pool	The Rejuvenation Pool is used to heal the player, restore prayer, and heal all negative status effects, like venom.
NPC Shops	Various NPCs are available that sell utility items like runes, starter gear, and tools.
Slayer Masters	All 4 available Slayer Masters are here.
Combat Dummies	Combat dummies allow players to test their max hits. There exist 4 main dummies: Standard, Slayer, Demon, and Dragon. Each dummy provides the appropriate hit bonuses for their respective monster. No XP is awarded for hitting combat dummies.

AFK Zone

The AFK zone is located south of Home. Players can also use the ::afk command to teleport there. The AFK Zone allows for players to train their stats while away from their computer.

Players inside the AFK zone will not be logged out due to inactivity, and Random Events will not teleport them out.

Players will gain points while inside the AFK zone, and gain double the points if they have an active Vote buff. AFK zone points can be spent at the AFK Store.

Skilling Areas

Farming

The Farming area can be found east of Home. Players can also use the Farming teleport in the Portal Nexus to get there.

The Farming Donator zone can be found directly east of the Farming area and is denoted by the glowing zone barriers.

Fishing & Woodcutting

The Fishing and Woodcutting areas can be found northeast of Home. Players can also use the fishing or woodcutting teleport in the Portal Nexus to get here.

The Fishing and Woodcutting skilling areas each have their respective Donator zones which can be found northwest of Home, near the Raids area. The donator zones are denoted by the glowing zone barriers.
Players can also use the Olympian teleport in the Portal Nexus and run north to get here.

Mining

The Mining Area can be found directly east of Home. Players can also use the Mining teleport in the Portal Nexus to get here.

The the Mining Donator zones are also located here, and are denoted by the glowing zone barriers.

Certain ore can only be found within these donator zones, but the ore do exist for non-donator accounts. To see a full list of available ore locations, see the Mining Resources page.

Thieving

The Thieving Area can be found southeast of Home. Players can also use the Thieving teleport in the Portal Nexus to get here.

The Thieving Donator zone can be found directly east of the Thieving area, and is denoted by the glowing zone barriers.

Multi-Skill Area

Otherwise known as the "Crafting Area", this zone is souteast of Home and contains the following points of interest:

Alchemy table	The Alchemy table is used to process certain Herblore recipes.
Anvil/Furnace	The Anvil and Furnace are used to process Smithing recipes.
Fire	The Fire is used to process Cooking recipes.
Loom	The Loom is used to process Crafting recipes.
Obelisk	The Obelisk is used to process Runecrafting recipes.
Spinning wheel	The Spinning wheel is used to process strings and thread.
Tempering bench	The Tempering bench is used to temper items.

Raids Area

The Raids Area can be found west of Home. Players can also use the Olympian Raids teleport in the Portal Nexus to get there.

The Raids Area is home to the Olympian Raids, Tombs of Amascut Raid, and the Olympian Brazier, an item used to process Olympian Cooking recipes and Olympian Smithing recipes.

Loot Chest Building

The Loot Chest building is located directly west of Home. The loot chest building contains various chests that players can loot with their corresponding keys.

Dragonstone Donator Zone

The Dragonstone donator zone, commonly known as the DDZ, is the first standalone donator zone in August. Players can get to the DDZ by using the command ::ddz, or running west from home.

World Boss Arena

The World boss arena can be found southwest of Home. Players can also use the ::wb command to teleport to the Arena.
