Pets

In August, pets offer unique bonuses such as increases XP gains, fighting with you, picking up/burying bones, and increasing your drop rate.

There are three pet slots available:

• "Default" slot
  • Unlocked by default
  • Used for combat pets, skilling pets, and some utility pets before their upgrades
• "Skilling" slot
  • Unlocked via Item sacrifice
  • Can only be used for Skilling pets
• "Utility" slot
  • Unlocked by default
  • Used for Utility pets

Note that talents such as Guardian and Bloodworm do not take up these slots.

Combat Pets

In August, combat pets have the ability to attack, with their combat abilities and styles based on the boss they were dropped from.

Combat pets are affected by the following talents:

Non-Combat Pets

In August, Skilling pets offer a 20% bonus to experience gained while training the skill they represent. Skilling pets are obtained as a rare drop while training their respective skill.
With the Tier 4 utility talent Remote Recipient skilling XP pets work while in the bank (based on rank).

Other Pets

In addition to Combat and Skilling pets, August has additional pets that offer unique benefits.

	Pet stray dog	Donator store	Automatically sends bone drops from enemies to your bank. The pet stray dog will fill your combat pet slot until evolved into a Homeful dog. Note: The Pet Stray Dog currently counts as a combat pet, not utility.
	Pet pak yak	Donator store	Allows you to send your full inventory to the bank.
	Homeful dog	Using Home ham on stray dog	Allows you to toggle the Bury Bones option. Note: The Homeful Dog does count as a utility pet.
	Fully grown AFK pet	Direct Donation	50% XP boosts for all AFK zone XP gained. Feed Sheep Food to Grow Note: The Baby & Teen versions of the AFK pet are currently considered combat pets, only the fully grown AFK pet will go into your utility slot.
	Vote Pet	Vote streak store	Doubles the 1% DR Boost/Voting Site.
	Pet Pet	Direct Donation	20% boost to pet rate while following you. Feed August Tokens to Grow Note: The Baby & Teen versions of the Pet Pet are currently considered combat pets, only the fully grown Pet Pet will go into your utility slot.
	Gilded Drakon	Legendary promo cache	+25% drop rate, + 20% pet drop rate, +10 max hit to other pets, and 2.5% chance to double drops.
