Talent points will allow you to level up your talents, increasing your damage, XP gains, loot drops, skilling speed and harvesting, and so much more. 			A very popular method to start skilling is to do [[Thieving]] or [[Runecrafting]], as both offer extremely high XP/hour options, which results in large amounts of Talent points. Additionally, Thieving is a quick way to gain some early GP, which is always nice, and Runecrafting will help stockpile your runes for your Magic training that will come later.

			Along with the XP you've gained, you will notice that every time you train a skill you're also gaining [[Skilling tokens]]. These tokens can be exchanged at the [[Skilling Token Store]].
			<br> I recommend you save these tokens and pick up a [[Skilling outfit]] and the [[Pickaxes#Gatherer_Pickaxe\|Gatherer's Pickaxe]] and [[Axes#Gatherer_axe\|Gatherer's Axe]], as they will come in handy.
