The event is particularly beneficial for new and returning players with a unique combat system where weapon tier determines damage rather than player stats.<br /> <br /> == Christmas Event ==<br /> Have a chat with Santa Claus to get your hands on some &#039;&#039;&#039;event weapons&#039;&#039;&#039;, and enter the &#039;&#039;&#039;portal&#039;&#039;&#039; to the event area to kill the Christmas Event NPCs!<br /> <br /> Newer players or players who have prestiged their combat stats will be able to train up &#039;&#039;&#039;very quickly&#039;&#039;&#039;, as the event weapons have fixed max hits at different tiers:<br /> * Tier 1: 35 max hit, 15% chance to hit max hit<br /> * Tier 2: 50 max hit, 20% chance to hit max hit<br /> * Tier 3: 55 max hit, 25% chance to hit max hit, and flurry PvM talents will be allowed to proc<br /> * Tier 4: 70 max hit, 33% chance to max hit, and flurry works as well<br /> <br /> These max hits will always be set according to &#039;&#039;&#039;your weapon&#039;&#039;&#039;, so &#039;&#039;&#039;your stats don&#039;t matter&#039;&#039;&#039;!<br /> <br /> NOTE: For the sake of balancing, the majority of damaging PVM talents have been disabled in the event area, as well as combat pets.<br /> <br /> NPCs in the event area will drop Festive Holly - the Christmas Event currency!<br /> <br /> === Santa Claus Shop ===<br /> Purchase Christmas Presents, Christmas Crackers, and Christmas Trinkets from Santa Claus with &#039;&#039;&#039;Festive Holly&#039;&#039;&#039;!<br /> <br /> Trade in items you don&#039;t need to Santa Claus for some Festive Holly back to spend on more things!<br /> <br /> === Ice Mimic ===<br /> There will be a chance for the Ice Mimic to spawn in the Christmas Event Area. This is a global boss which can drop a bunch of good loot! Teleport there with &quot;::mimic&quot;. We will be running events throughout the Christmas Event, spawning Ice Mimics for everyone to fight!<br /> <br /> === Shooting Star ===<br /> The regular shooting star has been replaced with an icy variant which will give you Festive Holly &#039;&#039;&#039;as well as&#039;&#039;&#039; stardust when you mine it.<br /> <br /> === Mulled Wine ===<br /> Once a day, claim 2x mulled wine from Santa Claus which can be used whenever you want to gain a nice temporary buff! Be careful though. If you die, you &#039;&#039;might&#039;&#039; lose the buffs!<br /> <br /> === Vote store exclusive cosmetics ===<br /> Check out the vote store in-game for a gander at some &#039;&#039;beauuuutiful&#039;&#039; icy GWD cosmetics that are T90 in stats. The cape/boots/gloves/amulet are all &#039;&#039;&#039;tribrid&#039;&#039;&#039;, and the Bandos/Arma/Zammy gear are style specific.<br /> <br /> === Ice Christmas Crackers ===<br /> You can use Ice Christmas Crackers on other players to get your hands on some christmas-cracker-exclusive cosmetics! Make sure to be careful with who you&#039;re using it on!<br /> <br /> === New Holiday Pets ===<br /> There&#039;s a new pet slot you can fill for holiday pets! Currently this only includes this event&#039;s 2 new pets:<br /> * Candice (Ice Mimic pet)<br /> * Anti-Santa<br /> <br /> Either of these pets can be summoned and will follow you &#039;&#039;&#039;at the same time&#039;&#039;&#039; as combat and talent pets. These pets will also increase your Festive Holly gained by a flat &quot;+1&quot; for every Festive Holly drop you get, for a nice little passive boost.<br /> <br /> Most importantly, these pets look awesome!<br /> <br /> Candice can be obtained from the Ice Mimic boss, and the Anti-Santa pet is a 1/11 chance from Christmas Trinkets!<br /> == Other updates ==<br /> * ZCB is no longer completely broken shooting 2 bolts at a time with dragonstone bolts</div>
